Calculations and local storage
No app account is required. Calculator inputs, results, saved calculations, projects and preferences are processed and stored on your device. We do not upload your engineering calculations to an Apps4Eng server. Removing the app may remove locally stored data. Exported PDFs and other files leave the app only when you choose a destination through the system sharing interface; that destination has its own privacy practices. Device backups are governed by your device and Apple settings.
Purchases
Apple processes in-app payments. The app uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to unlock purchased modules and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Non-consumable purchases remain associated with your Apple Account according to Apple’s rules.
Updates and technical data
The app uses Expo EAS Update to check for and download compatible app updates. Requests can include the operating system/platform, app/runtime/update version, project identifier, a random installation identifier, network information such as IP address, and update failure or diagnostic information needed to deliver and troubleshoot updates. This technical processing supports app functionality and reliability. It is not used by Apps4Eng for targeted advertising, data brokerage or cross-app tracking. Expo processes service data under its policies: https://expo.dev/privacy-explained and https://expo.dev/privacy. Apple may process App Store, purchase and diagnostic data under its own policies.
Advertising and analytics
The current app does not include advertising SDKs, ad personalization or third-party marketing analytics. We do not sell personal information. Previous versions may have had different components; this policy describes the current consolidated app.
Support and your choices
If you email support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond and resolve the issue. Do not send confidential calculations, passwords or payment-card information. You can remove local saved data, control device backup and sharing settings, and contact apps4eng@hotmail.com about support correspondence or privacy requests. Purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple. Necessary service records may be retained under Apple’s and Expo’s policies. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
